Personally, the Gong for me is the tool that makes a sound bath or a sound therapy session complete. It is powerful, profound, transformational… Gongs change time and locality, and provide the entry point to recovery, self-recovery, even pulling an individual back from “the edge” and create a different platform for their existence.
The gong is the musical instrument with the greatest and longest echo known so far to humans. It’s unpredictable to the human mind, with an unprecedented sound, organic development, and natural beauty when it is well played. While trying to interpret and understand the incomparable sound of the gong, the human mind focuses and centres so easily that the train of thoughts stops with almost no effort, and a sound meditative state of great therapeutic value is induced to the listener, in a few seconds just after the gong is first heard!
Furthermore, when metal is being “excited”, electrons become highly charged electromagnetically and form a field of Plasmon, with the listener becoming part of that plasma field. Participants become electromagnetically charged in a positive, benevolent and holistic fashion.
Metal is the only material known where the electrons leave their atoms and join other atoms, and when the vibrational activity of the gong ends, the electrons ‘go back’ to their original atoms and the energy field collapses.
The Gong is a psycho-acoustic gateway to heightened states of awareness and consciousness. It is an ideal tool for stress reduction, stimulation of the glandular system, and to break up emotional blockages. When skillfully played, gongs stimulate and resonate all cells in the human body simultaneously and recalibrate the parasympathetic nervous system.
In 2012 Richard Rudis published two videos filming human blood samples before and after a gong therapy session. What he observed was a remarkable healing transformation that took place affecting the red and white blood cells, T- cells and platelets. The blood terrain opened up enhancing the flow of oxygen and nutrients; red blood cells were less congested and the energy potential of the cell increased.
The immune system was incredibly stimulated and white blood cells were much more active, larger, brighter, and inflammation indicators decreased. The number of damaged cells from possible parasitical damage decreased from 70% down to around 30%.
