Dance and dance fitness are designed to be fun yet vigorous. With many choices of dance styles and fitness classes at Bodytree, there is something for everyone of all skill levels.

Contemporary Dance

Yoga inspired dance class set to the percussive rhythms of the drum. The class is loosely based on the Alvin Ailey dance technique of Lester Horton. Today Horton is primarily taught in New York City at the Ailey Studios and now here at Bodytree in Abu Dhabi. Imagine dance and yoga moves in one class. It’s a full-body and fun workout from your head to your toes. Some dance training recommended. Socks, jazz shoes, ballet slippers, or bare feet preferred. No sneakers!
Master Hip-Hop dance class geared toward students with multiple years of dance experience. This class consists of street styles and high energy. Be prepared to explore technique, confidence, and self-expression all while having fun!

Zumba

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? That’s exactly what the Zumba® programme is all about. It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie-burning dance fitness-party™ that’s moving millions of people toward joy and health. Zumba is the only Latin-inspired dance-fitness programme that blends international music, and contagious steps to form a “fitness-party” that is downright addictive. Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready to dance towards achieving your fitness goals.

BTB Barre

BTB Barre is a multi-level class geared to challenge bodies of any age, gender, or fitness background. The technique combines elements of ballet, light resistance, and cardiovascular fitness all in one session. BTB Barre offers exercises that can be modified for beginners, prenatal clients or clients with injuries, but that can also be amplified for advanced clients that are looking for an extreme challenge. The BTB Barre system sculpts the body proportionally so that all body parts are equally challenged. This total body workout serves to strengthen, lengthen, and stretch the body from top to bottom, from inside out. The end result is a long and lean physique, without added bulk.
