Ballet
Susan trained at George Balanchine’s School of American Ballet in New York City in the 1980s; during that time she also learned the Pilates technique at the studio of Carola Trier, a student of Joseph Pilates. She then joined the Los Angeles Ballet Company as a member of the corps de ballet. She also performed with the Pacific Northwest Ballet Company and with the Fort Worth-Dallas Ballet Company under Paul Mejia and Suzanne Farrell where she attained the status of a soloist.
During her career in Texas, she was a faculty member of the Ft. Worth School of Ballet. Ms. Nash then moved to Basel, Switzerland where she performed in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s The Phantom of the Opera. In Abu Dhabi, Ms. Nash became a trained teacher in the Stott Pilates technique.
