These yoga sessions teach kids the basics of yoga. The classes are designed to aid better body awareness, improve concentration, self-control, flexibility and coordination. It also helps kids to manage stress through breathing, awareness, meditation and healthy movement. Imagery and music are used as a motivational tool in the kids’ yoga classes, and they are interactive and fun. Yoga teaches kids skills that can be carried beyond the class into their daily routines.
