Come join Urdang International for a series of Masterclasses with West End Performers!
Urdang International comes to Emirates School of Dance for FULL OUT FRIDAY! Come and dive into the world of Musical Theatre with Mikey and Robine, teachers from London’s world-renowned Urdang Academy.  You will have the opportunity to develop your acting, singing, and dance skills through fun, interactive workshops. The material covered will include excerpts from “Billy Elliot”, “Joseph and his Technicolor Dreamcoat”, “Aladdin”, “Grease” and “Moana” plus more!
2. JUNIORS (6 – 8 year olds): 10:00am until 1:00pm
3. INTERS (9 – 11 year olds): 10:00am until 1:00pm

About your Instructors 

Mikey Jay Heath is Head of Dance for Urdang International 

Mikey is a professional musical theatre performer. He trained on a full scholarship at the Urdang Academy and is thrilled to be joining the Urdang International Team in the UAE.

Mikey’s theatre credits include playing Tom Thumb in the National Tour of Barnum for Sir Cameron Mackintosh, Mike Teavee in Charlie and the Chocolate Factory at the famous Theatre Royal Drury Lane, West End. Mikey has also played Doody in Grease in Milan, Peter Pan for QDOS and most recently was Judah in the 40th anniversary UK tour of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.

When Mikey is not on stage performing he teaches West End masterclasses and workshops across the UK and Ireland for dance schools and top London Colleges.

Robine Landi is the Head of Musical Theatre for Urdang International 

Robine’s work includes collaborations with leading artists from film, theatre, opera and dance and she enjoys a varied career as an actress, singer and animateur. An experienced coach and workshop leader, Robine has worked with the National Theatre, The Birmingham Stage Company, Soho Theatre, Opera Holland Park and Pegasus Opera. As a lecturer of voice and acting she has taught for the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, the Urdang Academy, Millennium Performing Arts, Mountview Academy and Italia Conti. Robine is a trustee for the Fergal O’Mahony Foundation, a charity providing financial support for young musicians in the UK.
