Alexandra McRobert

Born and raised in Toronto, Canada, Alex first started practicing yoga in 2010 as a university student. She was never particularly active or athletic growing up, but was immediately drawn to the way her regular yoga practice allowed her to develop awareness and control of not just the physical body, but also the mind and the breath. She completed her first 200 hour yoga teacher training in Vinyasa Yoga in 2014 at Yandara Yoga Institute in Baja California, Mexico. Since then, she taught a variety of styles of yoga in studios and gyms in both Canada and in Kuwait. Alex completed her 300 hour advanced yoga teacher training in Hatha Yoga, restorative yoga and meditation in the fall of 2017 with Zuna Yoga in Bali. She is very happy to now be based in Abu Dhabi, and excited to share her practice with the Body Tree community.
