Lenka Dalby

Lenka started practising yoga in the UK in 2005. She feels very fortunate to have studied with Jane Craggs who introduced her to the real meaning of yoga based on the classical 8 limbed path of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, which presents yoga as a way of life. To deepen her practice, Lenka decided to undertake her teacher training program in India studying with teachers AG and Indra Mohan, students of Sri. T. Krishnamacharya.

Lenka believes that yoga should be accessible to everyone regardless of their level of physical or mental health. Everyone can practice her form of yoga according to the individuals’ present feelings, bringing harmony to our body, mind and senses. Her classes work primarily with breath through integration of breath with asana (poses). She is also passionate in prenatal and postnatal yoga, yoga for children and restorative yoga. She has experience as a teaching assistant in yoga for elderly and disabled people.
