Joelle is an ERYT 500-hour Yoga Alliance instructor, certified P.T., Mindfulness facilitator, certified Neuro Linguistic Programming-NLP practitioner and Positive Psychology Life Coach from Canada. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and has been teaching in the UAE for last 5 years. As a dedicated yogini and meditation practitioner, she wants to share her passion and the wonderful health benefits of yoga and meditation to help people.
Joelle appreciates teaching a more traditional yoga style, her basis is Hatha Yoga with some variations and inspirations drawn from her background in martial arts and physical fitness that she enjoys incorporating at times into a flowing asana sequence. Her teaching methodology encourages self-challenge while maintaining a full awareness on the body energetic prana or chi and the observance of mind fluctuations. Her students enjoy her compassionate approach which makes her classes ideal for all levels. As an adept of meditation and mindfulness you can always expect a mediation practice to finish the class in order to achieve the yoga union of body and mind.
In addition to being a yoga teacher, Joelle also teaches Meditation and Mindfulness; she has trained in Tibetan Buddhism – Mahayana and Vajrajana lineages under her teacher Dr. Lama Alan Wallace. She is also a certified NLP- Neuro Linguistic Programming and Positive psychology life coach. She currently offers online Meditation and Mindfulness Programs for corporate as well as individuals looking to gain better control of their lives and be in peak mental and emotional state.
