A mindful, soothing and energizing class with emphasis on being present in your body, breath and mind. Alignment, inward focus and hands-on assisting are tools used in this class.
Tai Chi is like a slow dance with your body, with a lot of health benefits. A few health benefits of this moving meditation include reducing stress, improving mood, promotes weight loss, improves balance and reduces pain like arthritis and fibromyalgia. These are suitable for older practitioners or those who prefer a slow moving, low impact class. Sessions available in Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced.
A system of yoga transmitted to the modern world by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois. This method of yoga involves synchronizing the breath with a progressive set series of postures – a process producing intense internal heat and a profuse, purifying sweat that detoxifies muscles and organs. The result is improved circulation, a light and strong body, and a calm mind.

Hatha yoga refers to a set of asanas (traditional yoga postures) designed to align your skin, muscles, and bones. The postures are also designed to open the many channels of the body – especially the spine – so that energy can flow freely. Hatha yoga is a powerful tool for self-transformation. It asks us to bring our attention to our breath, which helps us to still the fluctuations of the mind and be more present in the unfolding of each moment.
Hatha Flow is a more dynamic version of the Hatha Yoga class where the transitions between asanas (postures) are more fluid and aligned with the breath.
These yoga sessions teach kids the basics of yoga,, aiding better body awareness, self-control, flexibility and coordination. Yoga can help kids and teens carry these skills beyond class into their daily routines. Designed to be interactive and great fun, we use imagery and music are used as motivational tools to encourage easy learning.
Mummy and Baby Yoga
This class focuses on strengthening the spiritual, emotional and physical bond between parent and child. Using interactive, slow-moving postures the class is ideal for mummies and babies newborn to crawling age. Mummy and Baby Yoga will help carry you smoothly through the busy early months of caring for a new baby.
Dynamic and creatively sequenced vinyasa classes bring together gracefully fluid movements along with slightly more challenging postures and transitions. Expect to breathe, build strength, flexibility, balance, invert, play, focus, release and be more present. Please note that Advanced Vinyasa Flow has been created with the more experienced yoga practitioner in mind. Both encouragement and options will be offered to suit the student’s personal needs, allowing them to find their own edge between challenge and acceptance.
Influenced by Iyengar Yoga style, a form of Hatha yoga emphasizing on details, precisions and alignment to safely perform a posture (asana) and breath control (pranayama).
The focus of this class will be on structural alignment of the physical body using props to enable the students to perform the asanas correctly, minimizing the risks of injury or strain, helping students relieve MSD and modern-day spinal strains and stress. This class is suitable for all levels, and accessible to beginners as well as both young and old students.
is an intermediate to advance level vinyasa-based practice that trains the mind and body to communicate in the most efficient way possible through visualization, breath and internal awareness in order to empower the practitioner in maintaining a focused and stabilized practice of highly dynamic sequences.
is designed to reduce the aches and pains during and after pregnancy in a nurturing and supportive environment. We will focus on special breathing techniques, opening of the hips, preparing the body for birth and assisting the body to recover post birth.
An uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras. Influenced by Shaktism and Tantra schools of Hinduism, the name is derived through a focus on awakening kundalini energy. Called by practitioners “the yoga of awareness”, it aims “to cultivate the creative spiritual potential of a human to uphold values, speak truth, and focus on the compassion and consciousness needed to serve and heal others”.
A slow practice where poses are held for 3 – 10 minutes. Through these long static holds, our deep connective tissues (fascia) are stimulated and released. As we place gentle stress on different areas of the body, we stimulate the meridien lines, where chi flows, and also our parasympathetic nervous system. Using props such as bolsters, blocks and blankets, every posture is supported making the practice customised to your own anatomical shape. The sessions are focussing on organ health, mindfulness and meditation.
Power Yoga varies from teacher to teacher, but they do include relatively the same frame work of a fitness based approach to a Vinyasa-style yoga. The emphasis in each class lies in strength and flexibility, flowing through each pose using breath work and learning how to position yourself into a balances correctly. Expect an intense internal heat and to work up a bit of a sweat. Power Yoga is a great full body workout, and work-in that will challenge your body and mind. Suitable for beginners to advanced.
Geared toward yogis who are more familiar with slower paced classes and looking to move up to the next level. You will work on the vinyasas/chaturangas, alignment of standing postures and practicing a faster-paced transition through a flow series, but with a more foundational level of postures.
ASHTANGA 1.5 COMBINED
Take your Ashtanga practice to the next level in this 1.5 combined series that provides a gap between the traditional primary and second series of Ashtanga. This challenging, yet safe practice was developed by Michelle following her travels to Mysore India to counter the numerous primary series forward folds by introducing the second series backbends and many other challenging poses like some inversions that the primary series omits to do leading to a more balanced practice for the body. The traditional jump required between primary and second series is great but with the 1.5 combined series, every asana has a modification until the body is ready for the full expression of the pose. Expect to be stretched and strengthened from head to toe in this physical practice that uses the full 90 minutes for the set series of asana.
ASHTANGA 1.5 EXPRESS
Take your Ashtanga practice to the next level in this 1.5 combined series that provides a gap between the traditional primary and second series of Ashtanga. This challenging, yet safe practice was developed by Michelle following her travels to Mysore India to counter the numerous primary series forward folds by introducing the second series backbends and many other challenging poses like some inversions that the primary series omits to do leading to a more balanced practice for the body.
The traditional jump required between primary and second series is great but with the 1.5 express series, every asana has a modification until the body is ready for the full expression of the pose. The Express 1.5 series incorporates more pranayama, meditation and a few less vinyasas than the 1.5 Combined Series.

It is a great way is to increase blood circulation, generate energy, relieve back pain, increase core strength and become more flexible.
