Noor is a mama, a mental health professional, human capital specialist, and Islamic psychology student.
As a mental health professional, her studies in Islamic sciences of psychology have transformed her heart to allow her to finally show up authentically and wholeheartedly as a Muslim practitioner. An opportunity to embrace our indigenous holistic approaches to healing, acknowledging our interdependent parts and holistic vessel, contrary to Western paradigms. A journey for the heart, one she’s humbly embarked on and a journey she’s still a traveler of.
Her approach is grounded in creating spaces of safety and empathy, spaces that allow for and appreciate vulnerability, open to navigating discomfort with courage and appreciation. She gravitates towards working with communities that put the service of people at the forefront.
Her corporate background in human resources and work as a mental health professional have allowed her to serve various industries and various communities. She has been privileged to witness the growth and positive change in individuals and families, while consulting for educational institutions, non-profit organizations, senior executives and teams.
Noor has acquired an EMBA from Hult University, Diploma in Psychotherapy and Clinical Hypnotherapy from the Royal Berkshire College in the UK, and a Diploma is Islamic Psychology from Cambridge Muslim College. She is currently under supervision to become a practitioner by the IAIP (International Association of Islamic Psychology) founded by the late Dr. Malik Badri and lead by Dr. Abdallah Rothman. And currently in her final stages of her MSc in Psychology and Neuroscience of Mental Health from King’s College London in the UK.
