Dance teacher
Yasmine Khedhiri began her dance journey in Tunis at the age of 12, where she trained in ballet and contemporary dance. Her artistic path has led her to perform and train across Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North America, gaining diverse experience through international festivals and collaborations with esteemed choreographers. With a background in classical dance technique and a strong focus on contemporary movement, floorwork, and improvisation, Yasmine brings both structure and creativity to her teaching. She has participated in a range of professional workshops and intensives in Graham technique, contact improvisation, and modern dance, and completed teacher training in Stott Pilates Matwork alongside studies in anatomy and movement. Her teaching is informed by a commitment to safe, developmentally appropriate practice that supports both technical growth and artistic expression. Now based in Abu Dhabi, Yasmine teaches ballet and creative movement at the Emirates School of Dance by Bodytree. Her classes are inclusive and inspiring, designed to help young dancers, build confidence, body awareness, and a meaningful connection to dance in a positive and supportive environment.
